Snake and Ladder
Snakes and Ladders is an ancient Indian board game that has gained worldwide popularity as a classic game. It is typically played by two or more participants on a square grid marked with numbered squares. The game board features various “ladders” and “snakes,” each connecting two specific squares—ladders providing quick ascent and snakes causing setbacks. The primary goal is to move a game piece from the starting point at the bottom of the board to the winning square at the top, with movement determined by rolling a die. Players are either aided or impeded by the ladders and snakes along their path, adding an element of chance and strategy to the game. To play, press the “space” key or click/tap the “roll” button to roll the dice, which determines how many squares your piece will advance.
